Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.armytool.site and all related services operated by Armytool (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We have written these Terms in plain language wherever possible. Where legal precision is required, we have tried to keep it readable. If anything is unclear, please reach out via our contact form and we will do our best to explain.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you further represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Armytool provides a collection of free, browser-based utilities for developers, IT professionals, and end users. The Service is offered free of charge and is supported by non-intrusive advertising. The vast majority of our tools process data entirely in your browser and do not transmit your input or output to our servers.
We may add, modify, or remove tools at any time. We may also change features, user interfaces, supported browsers, and the underlying technology. Where a change materially affects the way the Service operates, we will do our best to provide reasonable notice.
3. Account Registration
The Service does not require account registration. You can use all publicly available tools without providing any personal information. If we ever introduce optional accounts, the additional terms will be presented to you at the time of registration.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service.
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service for any purpose without our express written permission.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or breach any security or authentication measures.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or any networks connected to the Service.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other type of malicious code.
- Use the Service to engage in any activity that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Service or interfere with any other party's use of the Service.
5. Open Source License
The source code of the Service is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). Subject to the terms of that license, you are free to view, copy, modify, and redistribute the source code. The GPL-3.0 license takes precedence over these Terms in any case of conflict relating to the source code itself.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under the GPL-3.0 license, and nothing in the GPL-3.0 license restricts your obligations under these Terms with respect to your use of the hosted Service (such as the Acceptable Use provisions above).
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, graphics, logos, branding, and any non-code content (such as blog posts, documentation, and design assets) is the property of Armytool or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of these elements without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by the GPL-3.0 license for the source code.
Toolmarks and any feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you, provided that we do not publicly identify you as the source of feedback without your consent.
7. Third-Party Services and Content
The Service may display content from, or link to, third-party websites, APIs, or services that are not owned or controlled by Armytool. Such third-party services include Google AdSense for advertising, our analytics provider, and external APIs that some tools may call. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, privacy practices, or legality of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content available through the Service, including the output of any tool.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, the exclusions above apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ARMYTOOL, ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In any case, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100) or the equivalent in your local currency.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Armytool, its developers, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
11. Termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Because we do not maintain user accounts, termination primarily takes the form of IP-level blocks used in response to abuse.
You may stop using the Service at any time for any reason. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, but not limited to, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service resides, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted through a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
